Well good luck with the play John . Ive been into Northern / and Rare Soul since the mid seventies and still attend events including Weekenders like Blackpool. As you know we take it seriously ,I’ll try to come with an open mind and I hope the play does justice to a music that has brought so much joy to so many of us . Im not sure I would have included David Bowie's Let Dance ..? , but then it’s better than The Snake ! Your references to people like Rod Templeton clearly caught Karen off guard . Keep the Faith R Time Will Pass You By’ song writing credits and their birth place : John Rhys Eddins (Suffolk ) Nick Zesses : (Dearborn MI ) Dino Fekaris. (Pittsburgh )

What a lovely interview! I had the pleasure to see this particular production and cast several times over its run and I would say it would be hard to beat! The vocals from Jesus ( Ian McIntosh) Judas ( Shem Omari James) and Mary ( Hannah Richardson) were quite extraordinary! Gethsemane and Superstar were breathtaking! Excellent Pilate and priests and an amazing, tight ensemble! Hats off to everyone involved!👏👏👏

CORRECTION: Salonga isn't the FIRST Asian person to play Eponine/Fantine in LES MISERABLES. The Japanese version of LES MIZ already opened in Tokyo in 1987 -- one year after LES MIZ's opening in London -- with a FULL Japanese cast. And ONE YEAR even before Salonga was picked in Manila to appear in MISS SAIGON! So, how could Lea be the "first" Asian actress to play in that musical -- when a FULL Japanese company was already singing it in Tokyo? So, ANOTHER FALLACY!!!

So much to love about Natasha’s performance in this show! Just saw it in Charlotte on Friday, then brought my best friend (she is a local theater director) to see it tonight just so she could coach her students to be like Natasha ~alas, it was her night off. Grateful to be in the audience of this most beautiful show! And I wish blessings for all the performers’ journeys!!! 🤟🏽
